Airpower24 Zeltweg Airforce Base Styria / Steiermark Austria 6th & 7th of September 2024

The organizers of AIRPOWER24 can look back with satisfaction as the event attracted over 250,000 visitors. AIRPOWER24 took place from September 6 to 7 at Hinterstoisser Air Base in Zeltweg under the motto “Flying. Freedom. Enthusiasm.” This marked the 11th edition of the event. The enthusiasm of the visitors was palpable over these two days for instance, the extended applause after our 'Argonauts' display and during numerous other performances, such as the aerial combat between two Eurofighters. Together with our partners, Red Bull and the province of Styria, we were thrilled to generate such enthusiastic reactions and joy here in Zeltweg! I would also like to thank my entire project team for their outstanding work,” stated Major General Gerfried Promberger, the general organizer of AIRPOWER24 and commander of the Austrian Air Force, during a press conference following the event.
