Sanicole Sunset Airshow - 10th of September 2021 Belgium

The 42nd edition of the International Sanicole Airshow attracted 25,000 spectators over the entire weekend, according to the organisers. The first air show of the Benelux in two years was characterised by corona safety, among other things thanks to the separate, positively received visitors' sections.

With a varied international offer from both the military and private aviation sectors, this Sanicole Airshow was also a rich buffet for both a broad family audience and the detail-oriented connoisseur. After a digital emergency edition by corona last year, the gluttony was great. "You must not only see this aerial spectacle, but you must feel the vibrations, smell the paraffin," one spectator told us. To give as many people as possible a chance, a Saturday edition was also included, which required an extra effort from the more than 600 volunteers behind the scenes. "Over the weekend that started on Friday with the evening show, we welcomed a total of 25,000 people.
