Gilze Rijen EHGR the Slopes 7th of March - the Netherlands 2011
In 2011 I discovered the slopes at Gilze-Rijen. The slopes are used one to two times every day and sometimes more often mainly by the Chinooks, Apache and the Cougars. The slopes are two hills on the south side of the airbase next to the highway where these helicopters practice landings on uneven terrain. At this location you stand around the day with the sun at your back. You can shoot from a distance of fifty meters from the slopes. But things are changing within a couple of weeks. New hills are made at the airbase but you can't see them!
