Harreveld Airshow - the Netherlands 2003

For sixteen years, a large event called Harreveld on Wheels was held in Harreveld on Ascension Day. This event, which attracted a large number of visitors each year (in 2003 approximately 30,000 visitors), was mainly dedicated to motocross and a large air show. For years, it was the largest private air show in the Netherlands, with shows of, among others, the Hawk, F-16, Apache, Chinook, Fokker Four, Grasshoppers and Lelycopters. Since 2004, this event is no longer allowed by the Ministry of Transport.
